Park day! It was so nice outside so we met up with our friends at the park to play and go for a walk. Oh, and today was the day that you started helping sort the laundry. You were able to correctly tell us which socks belonged to whom!
You had a great day with Grandma, and dad and I ran some errands for you. We got you some new shoes and fancy urban camo pants. I’m constantly amazed at your cognitive skills and how you’re learning. We always knew that you would be a stud physically, but your brain is pretty impressive, too 🙂
Meanwhile, you and I had some quality snuggling time. Like, all day long. 🙂
Dad was so excited about his great finish at the tournament that he went out and got me a brand new set of clubs. The weather is supposed to be really bad tomorrow, but I’m pretty sure that we’re still going to be at Top Golf.
We finally retired all the 6 month clothes, like these cute little leggings with the fox on the butt. So now all your clothes are either 9 or 12 months…
Grandma Chapman came over today and watched you while dad and I went to the movies. We went to see Kingsman; it was awesome. Normally, dad and I go to Top Golf, but dad’s new clubs are on order and his back is hurt, so we needed to take it easy anyway.
You were getting a little restless in the afternoon, so we took you to the mall. I don’t know what it is about dad pushing you in the stroller that just makes you fall asleep, but it works every time. You got some new clothes from Dillard’s 🙂
The rest of the day was spent at home relaxing, wishing it weren’t Sunday. We need a longer weekend!
Today was the day of SO MANY OUTFITS; you wore 4 different outfits, 5 outfits if you count the one you woke up in. You’re not a fan of one-piece outfits, you puked on the second outfit, you pooped on the third outfit, and finally you were happy.
And FYI, you pooped 3 times today… 3! I think you’re in a growth spurt again, because all you did today was eat, sleep, and poop.
We woke up pretty early today, but you still slept the entire night. We had to be awake at 9am anyway; Chelsea was playing Newcastle at the Bridge. We ended up winning over Newcastle 2-0 and it tasted like redemption!
After the Chelsea match, we ran some errands. We had to make a return to Buy Buy Baby, then we went to Carter’s to get you some more clothes, and finally the grocery store. Once we got home, we put on ESPN and started watching the opinions on the day’s upcoming football games. We watched the Ravens v. Patriots and then Panthers v. Seahawks. Both home teams won. Dad really wants the Cowboys to win in tomorrow’s game, but we’ll have to see. The Cowboys are playing Green Bay, and that’s a formidable match up.
