Year 3, Day 269

img_8283-2We don’t normally swim after school, but when we do, it’s with daddy and we fly!

Year 2, Day 233

So… the haircut that you got yesterday really sucked, so we decided to shave the sides of your head.  That quickly turned into shaving your entire head because of your baby-fine hair texture.  So, TAH-DAH!  Because of the trauma, we took you to the pool again and gave you some Gatorade (which is like sugary caffeine for you) 🙂

Year 2, Day 232

We did SO MUCH stuff today!  We started out with a trip to Target, then went to My Gym, and then we had lunch with our friends at Chick-fil-A, and then we went to the mall, the pool, you got your hair cut, and finally we went to Ninja Warrior Kids.  Take that, Saturday!  You may have had dad retrieve you from the playground inside Chick-fil-A… 😉

US Independence Day

IMG_2713Happy 4th of July!  Today marked the 239th birthday of the United States of America.  On this day in 1776, our Declaration of Independence was signed, and the United States came to be.  You’ll learn all about US history in middle school and high school.

We went to gym class in the morning, like usual.  You got a nap before we went to Bobby and Meredith’s for pool volleyball, and then you had fun in the sun!  So much fun, in fact, that you fell asleep on me… face down… and all sprawled out 🙂

Day 226

IMG_2638Your first pool day!  We went over to Bobby and Meredith’s house for afternoon pool volleyball, and you swam!  Your first experience in the pool wasn’t too bad; you were more adventurous with dad than you were with me.  You didn’t have a problem with spitting out any water that you got in your mouth.  We’re going to get you some floaties for next weekend 🙂
